Knowing dree’s service has made a difference in other people’s lives has also helped me feel more fulfilled and happy.
I started working at the legal age of 16. I have always been a hard worker but having Bipolar Disorder has made it hard to keep jobs at times. I always pushed forward but with calling off from corporate jobs and being a single woman, I have to keep my options open to “side hustles” in order to make sure I still bring in a live-able income.
I work at Starbucks. Although this job has always been super easy to keep since it keeps me busy and it is a fun environment, I cannot live off making coffee. I started DoorDash-ing. It was making up for the income I needed, but I hated never being home. I never had time to cook, or have time for mental breaks at home. I was paying rent for an apartment that I never enjoyed.
I knew it was going to be hard getting a good-paying job that would work with my disability. I was very tired of DoorDash-ing every day, and the mileage on my new car just kept increasing. I was starting to wonder if it was worth it or if I should just go work for a different coffee shop as a second job instead of DoorDash since I knew making coffee was already working for my mental health.
I heard about becoming a dreePro through a friend. I instantly fell in love with the concept.
